Mr Wilkinson is a very busy man:

As you can see, he is having his house decorated. He's also having his lawn mowed and having his car repaired. This morning he had his hair cut and tonight he's going to have his suit pressed so that he can go to a very fancy restaurant.

Yes, it's all go for Mr. Wilkinson. However, thanks to the causative - and to all the people whom Mr. Wilkinson pays to do things for him, Mr. W. can get a lot of things done without having to lift a finger! So why not enjoy yourself and let a causative verb do the hard work?
